Some of these cases (U-series, W-series, V-series and UMX-series) can be found under Rosewill, DIYPC, or other brand in the US. They're just as affordable as Cooltek ones in Europe. Or affordable considering the build quality, it's the same of better than Lian Li.

Your case and built look seriously awesome!

But that eBay seller has severely inflated prices.

His/her auction for a UMX2 is priced at $489.99 : http://m.ebay.com/itm/UMX2-Black-USB-3-0-ATX-Aluminum-Computer-pc-round-design-Case-BRAVOTEC-/281549693845?nav=SEARCH

While I could order online or walk into a shop here and get one from €182 (closed) or €191.50 (windowed). The Euro prices include 21% sales tax : http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/zoeken/?keyword=Cooltek+UMX2
(Forget the bottom two entries marked as "Ongesorteerd" (unsorted). Those were not screened yet by the website.)

UMX4 will possibly be released in Europe at some point in April : https://forum.mindfactory.de/t91982-cooltek-jonsbo-umx4-release.html#post1062250

The case was awesome to work with, almost perfectly designed to my personal preferences. Every piece is modular and only takes a few screws to take apart.
That's one sexy looking case and build man. Positive envy from here! Congrats!

Only difference I can see with yours is that the power button and USB ports are placed lower at the front panel.

I want to use the case horizontally.
I already asked Inter-Tech if that was possible and they confirmed. But what's withholding me, is how to rid of the 4 feet and what to do to hide the holes that will surely be there.

Totally different case. Not similar at all.

I dream of having a matched pair of Jonsbo rigs - a W1 and a W2...but no distribution in North America...grrr...
Yeah you're right. It's the UMX4. Still, the AP1 carries a strong resemblance to the UMX4. There's a window on both sides of the UMX4 though. The rear end looks exactly the same.

Has Rosewill stopped selling Jonsbo in North America?
They (used to?) sell a Rosewill Legacy W1 and Legacy MX2.
I believe that wiretap told me about that. Not sure though.
But you probably already knew about Rosewill anyway.
Anyway, looking at wiretap's build, even without all the customisations that he made, I would go through great lengths to get a Jonsbo or Jonsbo OEM case.

I have a W2 which I love, but am having a quandry about the best cooling set-up. I currently have an AIO front mounted as intake, x2 120mm fans at the bottom, also intake, and a single 120mm at the rear as exhaust. I have a reference 980 so that's exhausting out the back, therefore not dumping any hot air in to the case. This seems to be the optimal cooling config for the W2. My big debate though is with the upcoming 1070/1080 Nvidia cards. I plan to get one of these, but Nvidia have priced the Reference (Founder's Edition) cards sky high, so the non-ref cards are going to be cheaper, faster out the box, quieter and cooler... would getting one of these really be a bad idea for the W2? Has anyone tried a reference GPU vs non-reference in the W2 to see what difference it makes to internal temps?

I don't think blower cards in general are worth it unless you're planning to put three of them in SLI, or strap an AC Extreme on them.
By upping the case fans' speeds and using a non-ref card you'd get cooler and quieter setup.

In most cases I certainly agree, I was just unsure with the W2, what with the x2 fans as intake at bottom and then the non-ref fans on the GPU blowing down in to that, aren't they fighting against each other with nowhere for the air to go (as exhaust fan is up top above the GPU, therefore not helping much in this regard), or is there the hope that the AIO fans up front (on intake) will help push any warm air out the PCI slots at the rear?

You'll be fine. Bottom intakes feed some nice ambient temp air to the GPU and back exhaust gets rid of it. Those will be rather cool cards at 150 & 180W.

E: Just noticed that Jonsbo now have .eu site. Dis gon to be gud

Thanks, I was loathe to pay the sky high price for the FE editions of the new cards, nice though they are.

On a separate note, is the W2 coming soon with a tempered glass side panel as in the picture on the preceding page? Not listed on the EU site there, or anywhere else I can see?
