Full Tower $200 or less

Thread Starter
I want to get a full tower case that has a window, looks good, quiet, and easy install. All full towers should fit those 3 fan GPUs right?

Was wondering what offerings other brands had like NZXT, Corsair, Lian Li, etc

I do not know very much about other brands newest and best cases, and these are the two cases I am looking at. I also saw the Corsair 760T and 780T priced the same, dont really know bout those but they look great.

I can't really comment or compare with the other brands but i can say about anything from phanteks (except smaller models, size wise) ticks the conditions you listed above.

I owned the following cases in the last year:

- Corsair Graphite 730T (Its the same as the 760T but no window + fan controller)
- NZXT H440
- TT Core P5
- Phanteks Enthoo Luxe

In terms of overall build quality, dust filters, airflow, customizability, sound reduction and ease of building the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe wins hands down.
The case has a great finish with nice details, such as rubberfoam on the HDD cages and pump bracket to reduce vibration. Yes it's fairly simple and no rocket-science, but they literally thought about everything.

It also comes with a nifty box full of all the screws you could ever need - and then some.
The manual, which I normally never use, is also of great quality. It clearly explains how the whole case can be taken apart.

Oh did I already mention it has dust filters for everything?
The Enthoo Luxe is the ultimate case for me, it even fits my thick EKWB 420mm radiator on the top thumb.gif

Also thanks for 'backing me up', i hoped somone did as i wasn't very positive towards complimenting my Enthoo Pro, implying it was the 'best' full tower 'at less than $200' while i knew there was the luxe and my case wasn't 'expensive enough' lol

I own the NZXT Switch 810 which is a full tower case which is going for $160 on the egg which comes in black(get the matte version),white and gunmetal. Sometimes you can find them for around 120-130 with free shipping. More then enough space for air cooling and has good water cooling options. The only major complaint I have with it is that is has a good amount of plastic on it and I am worried sometimes if I am going to break something every time i need to move it around when my loop is full of water.

As other have said you really don't need a full tower for 3 GPU's if they are being air cooled unless you need space for drives or water cooling equipment.

Fractal R5 is on the smaller side of ATX cases. Meaning, anything above ATX isn't officially supported, but otherwise, yeah, good case. I'd probably get something else for triple GPU, it's not particularly big on airflow (although it can be really quite decent).

Tripple GPU means you have money to get something from the upper echelon (meaning, above £150-£200).

I believe he meant a triple fan GPU aka a relatively long single GPU..
This should fit in most standard, and even low-end, ATX cases, while some might require you to remove one HDD cage depending on the case and/or GPU length biggrin.gif

That is a list with a "man among boys". The Luxe is head and shoulders above everything else there, and it's really not even close.

The best cases under $200 I have used in the last couple of years are the Luxe and Define R5/Define S. The 780T was without question the worst case for the money I have come across in at least five years - it's essentially a Phantom 630 design with niceties completely left out with a higher price tag....but, that is the Corsair way.....

However, without knowing what is going in this build (other than a mysterious 3 fanned GPU), it is impossible to make any completely solid recommendation. Though, I can't think of a scenario where the Luxe would possibly disappoint.
