Deciding on cooling, rn i am thinking h110i GTX or Noctua D15

What is wrong with the CM Storm Stryker and 760T/780T

I think they might be packaging the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe badly, I am reading reviews that says it comes damaged

There will be no issue fitting a Tri-X in any of these cases.

I kind of outlined what was wrong with the 760T and 780T in my last post - they are awful values, not particularly well designed and aren't made of very good materials....and they are priced at about twice that of comparable models.

They still make the Stryker? It was a good case in it's day.....but that day was several years ago. Cases have come a long way since then. Compared to current pieces, the Stryker lacks functionality, airflow and wouldn't be considered all that well constructed.

The Luxe damages were a result of the way the accessory box was shipped - it would get free and bounce around the case. That issue was solved, and Phanteks customer service has bent over backwards to make things right for people - that is well documented in the Phanteks Owners thread - http://www.overclock.net/t/1418637/official-case-phanteks-case-club-for-lovers-owners
1200+ pages of people loving Phanteks cases.

Edit - I just saw the damages you are talking about. Check the owners thread, Phanteks is more than happy to ship replacement panels if it arrives damaged. All you need to do is send a photo to their customer service.

Would Newegg be the place place to buy the Luxe? Any additional fans I should get?

And I do not know if the D15 is the best Noctua, I see the U12 and others. the ninja 4 is very quiet tho. I have a $170 budget for heatsink and fans

Right now, NewEgg is $20 less than buying from Phanteks direct.

The D15 is Noctua's top of the line, but that does not necessarily mean it is the best cooler for your needs. What CPU and MB are you looking at going with?

Luxe was good when it came out, now there is better selection.
The blocked HDD cages leave no intake. Unless you remove both of them, that leaves the 200mm fan, which is not very good.
If you want the H110, then best to get the H240-X2

What are you gonna do with the pc btw, i dpnt understand is it already built ?
One does not simply announce the dba of a cooling solution. (all values can change in an extremely big way between reviews themselves and between reviews and real life as the testing procedures will likely not be even roughly identical.)

Nice board.

Yes, the Swiftech is really 43dB under load, and it is an absolute cooling beast. Far, far better than the H100i GTX, or any CLC for that matter.

Speaking of modern - I totally forgot to mention the Phanteks EVOLV ATX (though @Sp33d Junki3 did, and he was spot on). Great case if you are looking at keeping the cooling to a single 360mm or two 240mm. I have had very good results with it using air cooling, but I know that others have had issues. It takes some work to get flow properly set up if you are using air.
