No kidding. It's insane how much of the profits the studio keeps. There's a reason why popcorn at the theater costs so much - they barely make any money off of the movie itself.
It is ridiculous to think that a video game that cost as much to make as a movie.
yet, The game studio can sell video game for $5(sometimes even for less in a different region).
All delivered via downloading, so u can play it offline & then u can also redownload the content infinitely(with no such BS as pay per usage).
lets not forget that games studio also keep supporting the game with patches for free after you bought the game. And they also do not have the luxury of selling the rights to cinema/TV channels like movie studio have.
I keeping wonder why cant the movie industry do the same. All I see is how they cry about pirate streaming ruin their profit, yet they spent little effort in making their own movie cheaper & more available.
