How to transfer everything except for windows to a different hard drive?

I keep seeing how to transfer windows to a different drive but how do I get, everything except for windows off of my ssd and on to my big storage drive?

Like everythiing I download goes to my downlaods that I put under Xena's fat (Big drive)
But then when I install new programs and everything its all under Xena's Heart Program Files.
I want to somehow move everything under Xena's Heart to her fat and then also redirect everything new I download or install to go to her fat and not her Heart.

That's pretty much impossible to do. When you install any but the simplest programs they make changes to the registry that, among other things, tell windows where the programs is and where all the things that the program needs to run are located. There is no simple way to change that.

Most programs, during their install, give you a choice of where to install their files. Once that is set it's very hard to change. And changing it for a bunch of programs would be very time consuming, to say nothing about having to change thousands (matbe 10s of thousands) of registry entries. That's just not going to happen.

If you really want to do it, uninstall all the programs and reinstall them to the other drive. That's about the only way that I know of to do what you want to do.

To see what you're up against:
Start > Run > regedit > edit > find > type in any program name (Firefox? whatever) and continue pressing F3 until all instances of the program name have been found. ...and that's only the program name and doesn't include everything else that the program uses.

I think if you are a guru and you are using good software you can do that by doing a replace all in registry changing the path of the programs from c:\program files (x86)\ to d:\program files (x86)\. However some idiot programs hard coded the path, not to mention some of the non-registry related links.

It is going to take a lot of trouble and a good chance of program failures in the future. I strongly recommended against the move if you have no idea what you are doing.

Another way to do it is to clone your SSD partition to your HDD and rewire it to make HDD your disk one so that it boots there. Reformat your SSD and make it bootable as disk two. Rewrite your boot file to boot from disk two. Last move your pagefile back to SSD. You will get the good boot performance as well as a fast response pagefile.

Forget what I say if you have no idea.

Thanks for the help, seems simple enough. But I don't have the time for that so I will just keep it there.
