Does formatting computer mean resetting of GPU-Bios?

Hello!

I am "new" to custom bioses, and decided to format my computer the other day.

Therefor, the question appeared.
Windows 10 says "Restore your computer to factory settings".

Is that including GPU bios?

Also, does GPU drivers in any way affect my Custom GPU bios?

Thanks,

You don't need to reflash. Some drivers are more picky than other ie you may have to decrease your max by 13 mhz on the core. Nvidia driver have been garbage lately.

No, reformatting your HDD/SSD will not effect your GPU's bios. I'm not too familiar with custom bios's myself but I'd imagine it's very possible for a driver to cause an issue.

Thank you /u/Deathangel74 and /u/SabbathHB for you answers.

Yes, the latest 2-3(?) drivers for Nvidia have sucked..

Hence my question.. I've dropped ALOT of frames recently, and I figured it might have been due to my format.
But; No!

Thanks!

I Love this community.

Thanks for not taking me as an idiot.
