submersible pump and filter for flushing rads

I'm thinking about purchasing a submersible pump and filter for flushing rads. I know a bunch of you use this method so i wanted to know what pump and filters do you use? Also, when looking at pumps what gph/gpm rating should i shoot for?

Honestly just grab any old pond pump from home depot, 1gpm flow rate would be fine make sure the PSI isn't high keep in under 10. As for a filter same deal home depot whatever they have of a 5ish micron water filter for houses.

Amazon prime has made me a very lazy person and the 20 minute drive to Lowes just isn't worth it.

Looking at this setup from amazon since it'll give me fittings i can use with my 3/8ID soft hose i already have.

Unfortunately the pump is only rated by gph, no psi ratings on the amazon page. The 396gph model i'm looking at converts to 6.6 gpm. Might be too much, but i think something around 1gpm isn't going to do a whole lot. Pretty sure my 2 d5's in series in my current loop push more than 1gpm.

I've seen that vid before awhile ago. Its actually what made me want to do the pond pump flush and i plan to make a similar setup.

Here is the filter setup I use:

I've got an extra D5 pump laying around that I use for flow, but the submersible would probably be a better use of space/time/money, since I also draw from and exhaust to a bucket. (I'm also Amazon-level-lazy: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VBC4UM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

If you do get that filter, be sure to get he media cartridge as well (the actual filter) since that housing doesn't come with one.

Also, that bucket arrived a lot smaller than I expected, though that was a plus for my use case. Here is a shot of it next to a 980Ti ACX 2.0 cooler:
