Very true, i was thinking 2 rad for this build , 1 560 and 1 360. That way i can use all of my extra fans and for it to look the best smile.gif Yet would a 480 work better?

Also, if using these two rads, how should the flow go??

(it went sideways my itself)

I want my main 560 rad to cool of the cpu and i have the top for my res with this end cap
https://www.performance-pcs.com/monsoon-mmrs-triple-port-end-cap-with-dual-side-ports-black.html

Im unsure of the direction of tubing i should take. I can flip the rads in any direction needed

So your going horizontal with the res now? I think its going to be difficult to get a good tube layout that way. That case should have plenty of room for the front rad and res, why not keep the res vertical?

I still am, the picture doesn't have the right perspective. The top res should be the 560 how horizontal and the 360 going vertical , makes sense?

I have to disagree with this, you are half right but not completely right.

There is 2 parts of this, Idle temp in a good loop an okay loop and a bad loop will be about the same pretty close to ambient. However adding more rads will ALWAYS reduce load temps. The returns are diminishing so the more rad you add the harder it becomes to get another -1c in delta. However I don't think many people have a 0c delta or even a 1c delta.

Now I will agree that in most cases people dont care, so they will look at it like this. To them a GPU running at 50c or 30c is no biggie, However a GPU that doesnt go over 30c well overclock a lot better than 1 at 50c. This is why LN2 people see such massive overclocks, how a CPU/GPU Overclocks is very temperature dependent. A CPU can run XXX MHZ with XXX voltage at 45C however at 65C it wont even boot.

People that run crazy loops me included, are not just throwing around 1000s for no reason there is a reason. Do most people need to go to that extent most likely not, if they did they would know.

My loop when it had 2 290s, the 290s were using massive voltage and custom bioses, My CPU is pushing kill your chip levels of Vcore, and when I bench it its pushing 1.52 volts Asus warns you when you set it that high lol, Even with that my CPU was still at 55c and my GPUS never went over 40 they barely get even close to 40c. 1 480 rad or even 2 would not provide that result.

I actually have my system on a bench ATM as I moving to sth10 with 3 560s and 420. As when I added the 3rd card my temps rose beyond my liking, anyway back to the point. ATM on this ghetto bench I have my CPU running at 4.5 (as it wont take my old OC) and my GPU at stock (Only running 1 due to lack of rad). With the setup currently my CPU is hitting 78c in heaven with my GPU hitting 50c, same fans same rads just less of them. My Idle temp remains the same its the load temp that changes and thats what is important.

So basically unless you have 0c delta than more rad will always make a difference, I am not talking about idle delta I am talking about load, I dont know anyone on these forums or at all with a delta under 3c and very few under 5c

Nothing wrong with that rad, just use the correct ports is all. It is pretty much the best 140mm based rad on the market IF you use the right ports.

Okay, for this case,Thermaltake w100, how would i connect two rad (in the meantime) with a only a cpu? Im trying to picture the tubing position in my case

Here is a diagram to see the optimal ports,

The reason it uses these as this rad is kind of a hybrid its like 2 rads sandwiched together with its design, in a way that works strangely as rad sandwich usually do not work.

The difference is minimal, and almost always within error margins.
What about either one of these options:

The second option you would have to flip the front rad so the ports are down.

Also, if that radiator is that much trouble with the ports, imo you could go with an EK or XSPC and probably have just as good performance with all the rad space you have, and they're cheaper. HWL is good, but don't let the port thing make you lose any sleep.

Well the difference was enough to allow the EK CE to beat it from what I seen when someone documented it (I think it was Stren) Stren also mentioned on the few reviews that the higher the fan speed the more difference Opti Flow makes, I will try to find where it was documented.

I do know the difference is minimal, however the difference between the HWL and the EK CE and Phyoba are all pretty minimal, thats where I was coming from. If opti Flow is not an option that would slightly lower the performance to compare with that of those rads which are much cheaper.

Perfect, went with a 420 Instead , also..

Will this wiftech MCP655-PWM 12v Water D5 Pump Module - PWM

Work with this ? http://www.performance-pcs.com/ppcs-12v-to-24v-dc-d5-laing-pump-supercharger.html

And does EK have better d5 pumps?
