Hi, i'm using a EVGA 970 FTW that I recently acquired in a trade. The display port does not seem to work. I am trying to connect it via a Displayport to DVI adapter, then connecting the DVI cord to the adapter and then to the monitor.

I had a EVGA 980 SC before I traded, the same Monitor, DVI cable, and Displayport to DVI adapter worked with the 980 SC. I'm about to RMA the 970 card. Anything i'm overlooking before i do? I can't even get windows to recognize the monitor but it works when i just plug the DVI into the DVI port instead.
