Get rid of the Artic Silver cleaning solution, and just use 90% iso alcohol to clean the parts.

Don't overpay for the 6700K, go with Haswell-E instead on the X99 platform.

No, no it isn't (slower/worse performing). It is only slightly more expensive, and worth it. The 6700K is just flat out a bad deal all around, it really is.

Also, you poor, poor, poor soul. The pricing you are paying is insane! Damn near should be illegal. I paid $200 less for my 5820K than what you see.

I hope you're buying these parts at cheaper prices. Some of the prices are insane like the RAM and GPU. Are there different retailers in Aussie land?

There are, this is the cheapest retailer in Aus: http://cdn.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf

RAM is 149 instead of 199, CPU is $10 cheaper but they dont stock anything else. no EVGA cards at the moment...

No already put the order through minus CPU and Motherboard. It works out cheaper than buying from newegg due to shipping and import tax.

I may as well buy this it would be better value without the risk https://siliconlottery.com/products/6700k47g

As of 11/06/15, the top 36% of tested 5820Ks were able to hit 4.6GHz or greater.

The money I save on the motherboard would be worth it.

I hit 4.6 Ghz on my 5820K without a struggle.

Haswell-E OCs nicely.
