If you read anything at all you wouldn't be quoting things that prove my point, AMD Can't take part of a Gameworks Title development process, how do you expect them to have optimizations ready at launch? Oh wait, they don't, I believe you can find brain the power to figure out the why, you just got it backwards.

i'm not lacking any brain power since i don't have the tunnel vision focused on GW. that comment was meant drivers not being ready for ALL games not just TWIMTP titles.thumb.gif

whoah, there's a thought, eh?

Still don't get it apparently, funny how you can't even understand my argument but you think you're answering to it.

Driver Optimizations are the alternative for when Game Optimizations aren't possible, it is always better to optimize the game for the GPU than the GPU for the game, ACE is another example of this, nVidia optimizing the game for their GPUs instead of getting their GPUs on par with current technologies thumb.gif

i understand what you're saying, you just don't like my answers. i completely agree its best to have the actual game code but not entirely necessary.

but still how many new (non GW games) still don't have Xfire profiles?

what i have said for years is its time AMD and its enthusiasts stop moopping about unfair practices, most of which they can't control and pick themselves up and start swinging back.

It is necessary if you want your GPUs to run the game efficiently at launch and not be utterly destroyed on benchmarks, this goes back to:

You say that having the actual game code is not entirely necessary, the way I see it, if you want to survive on this market it is.

You're just repeating what that guy from nvidia said when asked about it, do you have a clue on how AMD optimize, if so please enlighten us.

How many? I dare you to list a few of these non GWs titles without profiles.

as i said before, any reputable review site will not use proprietary settings in their benchmarks. i can go back to [H]ardOCP's review of far cry 4. they noticed the minute they enabled godrays that AMD cards took a big hit and stated, "yelp looks like this is nvidia's stuff" and concluded accordingly.

but it's not a perfect world and every site will do that. and sure that can be unfortunate for AMD .

but now in ashes of the singularity AMD is really pummeling nvidia and in my books, thats completely fair and i wish to see hitman do the same. level playing field, it's all good.

Xcom 2 Unreal engine 3.5 which is nvidia's baby really, so the lack of aa profile is not surprising tongue.gif
yeah do go on, try list stuff that actually needs multi gpu though.

Sorry, i thought you had them on the tips of your fingers all cued and ready to go. I'll google some when I can be bothered to look into multi gpu. Thx for your time

lol. nope. look i'll admit that i don't have them cued up. what i do have is the impression of AMD users themselves complaining about the lack of support.

now, if at your convenience you can correct that - i am all ears/eyes. (even with a PM)
