You like to talk about IQ comparison but you call PCGH "the worst site" when they are one of the few that actually does that rolleyes.gif
Check out their Dirt Rally review here wink.gif

Ah we have IQ comparisons:
AMD NVIDIA

What's that? NVIDIA having better IQ? thinking.gif No way!!! Blasphemy!!! Must be GimpWorks fault!!!

Oh wait... it's a Gaming Evolved title doh.gif

So AMD are apparently aware of the issue and are gonna fix it in drivers. Well I don't know if they did but it sure took a big performance hit going from 15.12 to 16.1:

What we have in the end is NVIDIA winning both performance and IQ in a Gaming Evolved title. Who would have guessed with all the performance and IQ gimping tongue.gif

Win for Nvidia.

http://www.overclock.net/content/type/61/id/2716585/

More DX11 1080p reviews with $650+ Graphics Cards smh. At 1440p and 4K I've seen a nice boost with AMD Crimson 16.1 Beta drivers using the STOCK frequency. Even Firestrike showed improvements.

From my own Apples to Apples benchmarks:

AMD Fury X STOCK Settings
3DMark FireStrike Performance % Increase:
From Catalyst Driver 15.7.1 -[7/29/2015]- to Crimson Driver 16.1 -[1/17/2016]-
-Overall Score: +3%
-Graphics Score: +2.19%
-Combined Score: +5.89%

3DMark FireStrike Extreme % Increase:
From Catalyst Driver 15.7.1 -[7/29/2015]- to Crimson Driver 16.1 -[1/17/2016]-
-Overall Score: +2.24%
-Graphics Score: +2.20%
-Combined Score: +2.84%

Tomb Raider 2013 [Ultimate Setting] – 3840×2160 [4K]
From Catalyst Driver 15.7.1 -[7/29/2015]- to Crimson Driver 16.1 -[1/17/2016]-
FPS: +6.00%
Frame times: +3.80%

Crysis 3 4K 100% Maxed - No MSAA- Performance % Increase:
From Catalyst Driver 15.7.1 -[7/29/2015]- to Crimson Driver 16.1 -[1/17/2016]-
FPS: +13.33%
Frame times: +4.48%

3DMark Feature Test [DX12] Performance % Increase:
From Catalyst Driver 15.7.1 -[7/29/2015]- to Crimson Driver 16.1 -[1/17/2016]-
DirectX 12 Increase: +5.85%

Mantle performed better than DX12 though. Mantle was 1.57% better than DX12. Mantle had 16,374,768 Draw Calls at stock settings. DX12 Draw Calls was 16.1M.

Minor increases, but I'm not complaining. I haven't thought about overclocking the Fury X yet since the 1440p\4K experience has been enjoyable. Crimson 16.1 Beta drivers has definitely improved some of AMDs DX11 overhead problems. I don't benchmark my games at 1080p since I never play games at 1080p anymore and haven't in more than 3 years. I'm planning on getting some newer titles like Rise of the Tomb Raider and Hitman for more up to date benchmarks. I'm only benchmarking games when I have time to play them nowadays. I need to get around to playing Shadows of Mordor again.

I don't know what they found in Dirt Rally, but so far all of the games I like to play are performing better.

IQ win for NVIDIA? Thats the problem PCGH is showing NVIDIA winning in Rally, but in my experience and many others its just different result.

Sure AMD is having some problems with CPU driver overhead... but R9 290 matching GTX 980 at 1440P is just nice.

IQ comparison - Well here is good IQ comparison. Not that crap from PCGH.

Yes the game can take advantages of intels six core CPU, but it cannot do the same for AMD. Sure.

IQ differences were also seen in Crysis 2 and BF Hardline. AMD looked better.

Agreed. Pcgh is transparent. You may disagree with their approach or cards used but they are competent and have no obvious agenda.

Also, did you checked the date of that other review? It's from 2014. The game was in very, very early access back then.

Those are from the ComputerBase review, and there is a clear difference. It's the same issue that PCGH found.
