[Youtube] Need for Speed - PC Reveal - Page 4

While it's definitely an insanely good looking game, I'm rather going to wait for hardware test reviews since it's entirely possible that this game could be horribly optimized on launch.

Regardless, this does look pretty damn fun and if all is well it'll be the first NFS game I'll have bought since Most Wanted D:

Nonetheless a day and night cycle would be a lot better than night - early morning only.
I guess the night time is to keep things "authentic" with illegal street racing and all... I hope the rubber banding won't be too extreme, maybe they will have learned from the console versions and fixed it by then.

I own all NfS games until Most Wanted 2005 and continued collecting since Shift 2 (which was a steering disaster on PC). Most Wanted 2010 and Rivals are the most fun currently, with MW being actually better IMO, but Rivals having the more active online race community and better graphics.

I wouldn't dare use a wheel for those games though, so I'm interested to see how Ghost Games will have optimized this iteration for them. If reviews do well, the T500 will be next to get.

More free content updates are yet to come along with paid DLCs which are surely going to improve the game and add even more content to it. I must also add that this is the best looking racing game and the sounds of certain cars are just insane and glorious.

Practically everyone that owns this on the console disagrees.

Rubberbanding, AI actually passing you post-accident...Like the AI will crash half way through the race and magically blow by you to win almost //EVERY SINGLE TIME//...Car design is mostly still broken.

Free content and updates were pushed/forced on Ghost because of the state, the game was launched in...Because of that, the once "planned DLC's" are now free content updates.

Not to mention the police AI is horrifyingly bad.

Yeah, it was a massive failure - Just visit the reddit thread sometime. Ghost is practically on their knees begging users to stay by providing "free" content.

GG NFS, it was fun while it lasted.

Eh , honestly i don't think i've ever seen third party wheels pictured in a game like that... But it is a little silly to bullet point it. I wish they confirmed oculus support. Does this game have cockpit views?

"Free content updates" - EA, you've done it. Finally.

I thought the same, even though the song was originally in Underground 1 (which had a much better soundtrack than Underground 2 IMO).

It seems like everything that was wrong with the console versions is fixed for the PC........now about that rubberbanding AI.............

Project CARS has a similar type of wheel selection display in its menus.

Would you guys advise a wheel? I'm really dodgy about getting one for a NfS game...
Get Low was from NFSU1, NFSU2 was the "Riders of the Storm" cover from Snoop Dogg smile.gif
