But that's going to cost me $175 with no warranty.

Do not buy XFX 7900 series gpu's they run hot, are loud and use inferior componentry.

Going tomorrow to see a couple used gpu's for sale.
How should I be inspecting them? What should i be looking for?
What's the fastest way to check that I am getting a fully flawless card in 5-10minutes of being at their house?
Thanks.

Around this budget i can get a brand new evga gtx 750 Ti from a store or i have 2 other options here:

Have someone selling me a 2yr old MSI GTX 760 4gb Twinfrozr for $145 CAD.
It still has warranty till Jan 2017 (11 months left ish).
Comes with box & accessories.
Good deal? would you go for it?

Have someone selling me a 3yr-3.5yrs old ASUS GTX 680 2gb reference card for $140 CAD.
Has 1 yr warranty left till Jan 2017.
Comes with box & accessories
Good deal? would you go for it?

According to this website: http://www.game-debate.com/gpu/index.php?gid=2149&gid2=576&compare=geforce-gtx-760-msi-twinfrozr-gaming-oc-4gb-edition-vs-geforce-gtx-680
The gtx 680 2gb is 11% better then gtx 760 4gb

So my options are the MSI GTX 760 4gb twin frozr for $150 or ASUS Gtx 680 reference for $140. Both come with original box & accessories but the Gtx 680 is 3yrs-3.5yrs old and 760 is 2yrs old & both have 1 yr left of warranty.

Which 1 would you go with? or get a new Gtx 750ti?
I play mmorpg's like world of warcraft / black desert / tera etc ...
I play FPS shooters like BF4 & Black Ops 3 & TF2 & Overwatch etc ...
Thanks! smile.gif

Hey guys i ended up getting a evga gtx 770 sc with 1.5yr warranty with original box & accessories for $160 CAD.
Good deal? I had to spend $25 more then the gtx msi 760 4gb & asus gtx 680 2gb.

770 for $160 CAD? Yeah that's an okay deal. Nothing I'd really jump around about, but not horrible either. It's essentially the same performance as a GTX 680, HD7950, R9 280. You did okay with that one, plus it should run a lot cooler and more efficient than the Tahiti AMD cards.

Would you have bought the reference asus gtx 680 for $130 instead or payed $30 more for the evga gtx 770 sc?

EDIT: i bought the gtx 770 sc for $150 CAD. But still the gtx 680 was for $130. $20 less.
