What mouse to choose out of these razer mice, please help me decide.

Hello,

so after I bought my new keyboard, I went for the Corsair Strafe RGB, I decided to buy new mouse aswell. I've been looking at all the brands ranging from logitech to roccat and razer and even some of the asus and zowie mice look great, but I personally like the logitech mice. I had logitech mx 510, mx 518, G400, G400s and currently I have the G303 daedalus apex mouse. I had the microsoft IE4 for a while, it was a damn fine mouse, but it had a wide range of problems...ranging from problems with the mouse wheel and the mouse button switches breaking from time to time...

So when browsing through the various reviews and articles about mice I decide to narrow down the mice I think look and perform best imo. It is another tough choice, just like choosing the keyboard.

The first mouse I think is great is the razer mamba 16000, I only read positive reviews about this one, it's expensive, granted. But it's also wireless with quite a strong battery, it can last for 20 or more hours if the mouse is charged at full capacity and that is something to behold for sure. Besides all the other various features I tried the mouse in the store and it felt great, although a bit heavy when compared to my previous logitech mice or the G303 I have now currently. And I love the massive and robust mouse wheel they have on this mouse. Then again it's only downside is the price. Paying nearly 180 euro for a mouse is a bit mad.

The second is another razer mouse, the dazer Diamondback 2015. It is very similar to the mamba 16000, but without the 2 buttons above the scroll wheel, which is robust as on the mamba 16000, but it's not wirless. I had a chance to try this mouse too, it felt like a wired mamba 16000 but with a slightly different, narrower design. The price is just over 100 euros and I think this might be the best choice.

The third one is another razer mouse, the razer DeathAdder Chroma. It has a similar shape to the razer mamba 16000, but it is again not wireless and doesn't have that nice robust mouse wheel. But costs 70 euros, which is a fair price for a mouse like this. I didn't like the material though, the coat of the mouse felt a bit rough...

The last one is the Razer Mamba Tournament Edition, it is basically the same as the razer mamba 16000, it's just a wired version of it and costs just over 100 euros.

So in conclusion I'd say that razer offers a very variable range of mice and considering logitech mice were almost exclusively the only mice I used for gaming since 2002 it's a big change. I personally would go for the razer diamondback 2015, but feel free to share your experiences with these mice and possibly recommend some other mice for me to consider or there is a possibility I will side with my current mouse the logitech G303 daedalus apex or wait for another line of logitech gaming mice in the near future that will look like the old MX series smile.gif

Thank You

DA is the only remotely decent Razer mouse.

Mamba's sensor isn't implemented very well. Bad DPI scaling at low speeds and Z-Axis bug that you may or may not encounter or dislike.

Diamondback has the same sensor so same issues.

Mamba Tournament is the same as Mamba Wireless.

Deathadder is a good choice if you don't mind the shape and whatnot. Granted this is if you're taking sensor performance into that high of a regard. Normally I suggest finding a comfy shape first then narrow the search down from there.

All of the above is pretty accurate. I purchased the Diamondback during the 50% off sale and it had some extremely weird issues where it would randomly jump up when I drew circles in Paint. It happened numerous times in game so I tested it. Granted, I was using the Artisan Hien and after properly calibrating the surface (multiple times) and testing it in Paint, it stopped and it was very accurate in tracking. But to be honest, it probably isn't worth the trouble to need to do that in the first place.

The Deathadder is the only one with the great sensor. It has an ergonomic right-handed design and, depending on your hand size, can be large. Personally, the Deathadder is huge to me and my palm-claw hybrid grip doesn't mind the shape and I love it anyway!

Razer Deathadder for FPS
Razer Naga for MMO

these are the only two mice you want

After looking inside the DA construction, I'm pretty hesitant to recommend it for longer use aswell. I mean there are some cheeky design choices that are clearly there for price cutting.

Pretty much.

Most people that use Razer and are actually half decent players or better, all u see with them is Abyssus or Deathadder.

Based on the 3 that the OP couldn't decide between, they're all fairly large mice. The Krait is pretty much on the opposite end of the spectrum and it also has the thinnest grip width I've ever seen.
