I have a very odd problem that I've never seen before and I can't find any info on Google. Every time my PC performs a Windows Update, it restarts and performs extremely sluggishly. Every time I go to Power Options -> High Performance (my power plan) -> Change Plan Settings -> Change Advanced Power Settings -> Processor power management -> Maximum processor state, and see that the value has been reset to 5%. As soon as I change it to 100% my PC starts working beautifully again. What could be the reason for this, and how do I keep Windows Update from doing it?
