Good screens don't come glossy these days. Glossy screens are usually to help make crap screens look better.

Hmm that's unfortunate, I guess I'm going to have to look for a 1440p 120-140hz then. Any recommendations with those specifications?

That's fine, it is your opinion and you are entitled to it ... But for I I would choose glossy any time of the day for color quality in comparison to matte(not taking environment as a factor)

That is why they use a glossy screen. It enhances the color of a crap panel. This is not opinion, its fact. That is why you very rarely see glossy high end screens. Plus you have reflection issues.

If it is fact then show me the proof.
The reasoning for matte screen according the manufacturers is that the majority of the user base use matte screens.
If you aren't going to contribute to the thread and then just make things up then why are you posting?

Ignore Prophet4NO1 rolleyes.gif

If you want 120hz glossy. Asus has older VG236H if you want 144hz there isn't any options other than getting Asus VG248QE getting dematte. Member Callsign Vega used to do it for small fee not sure if he still does you could always ask..of course this will void warranty.
