i'd get one immediately if it had right side buttons too, as the sensei does (pressing thumb buttons moves my mouse to the right) and no braided cable.

Indeed, you are much more widely known in the whole pc industry than a startup like finalmouse.

What's the coating like? Matte, rubber, glossy? Please compare the coating with other popular mice.

Also, did anyone do a button latency test yet?
Can someone objectively compare the coatings to an actual rubberized one with the one on the dm1. Alya said it's like the one on ec1-a, which is quite far from being rubberized. That claim just doesn't sit well with me.

It either is rubberized or isn't. Ec1-A is nothing close to rubberized, not even matte. It's as smooth as it can be.

Does the coating on the dm1 get easily sticky/sweaty?

About the buttons Ok. But cables just can't be a dealbreaker. You can always change them in mice (unless we are talking about the G9/x)

I have compared to a ec1 evo. From pics you cannot see much of a difference.

It feels quite different though. the ec1 feels more slick than the DM 1 pro, but is still stable in my grip.
The DM1 pro sticks better to the hand, without causing sweaty hands.
I cannot really tell you what I should prefer. Both coatings are fine for me.

Just ordered one from the U.S. I'll let you guys know what I think about it when it arrives. Hopefully no QC issues. I've used just about everything besides a SS sensei so if this is similar I'll give it a shot. You guys seem happy with it. I'm a claw user so I'll probably have to adapt to the palm shape.. I also hope the coating/grip is nice... tired of slippery mice!

You can claw it just fine, I have 17.8cm hands and I can claw it but I prefer a hybrid of all three grips.

So would you say the DM1 coating is closer to the Mionix rubberized coating?
