I want to remind everyone who uses the dm1 pro at 500hz, that this firmware reverts it back to 1000hz.. So dont let yourself fool you with placebo, just like i did smile.gif

My hand is about 18 cm in length. Would that be comfortable enough with a palm grip on this mouse? I've been using an old razer imperator for the longest time. The left button is double clicking so much that I need to get a new one. I keep hearing all these horror stories about the chroma though, so I kind of want to try the DM1 Pro. It's hard to find a mouse with the same comfort as a razer without all the defects. :/

Despite the horror stories, the DA:Chroma is actually a very good mouse. The only reason we're hearing more of the duds/stories is because Razer's volume of sales is insanely higher than that of the other smaller companies.

Really? I keep hearing that too, but I don't know who to believe. Every other amazon review says their mouse failed within 3 months or that the left click started double clicking or acting a erratic...very much like what my imperator has begun to do (although it's like 8 years old tongue.gif )

I'm really torn between the SteelSeries 300, ASUS ROG Gladius, DA chroma, or the DM1 Pro. I'm moving between a Mac and a new PC I'm going to use, so it's got to work on both systems. :/ I just really like the shape and comfort or Razers.

I got this mouse today and I see many posts about using the mouse at 500hz instead at 1000hz. The consistency of this mouse at 1000hz have issues?
