I feel that using DPIs like 450, 900, 1250, is more natural to me while most people may consider it a little unusual.

It's completely personal - and for that reason these steps have been created. If companies want to dumb the mice down, then fine. We won't buy them biggrin.gif

Some people are saying that high cpi is better than low, which makes no practical sense on the 9800 family. So yeah, it's pretty much subjective, as long as the architecture supports native steps of 50 increments.

Like this youtubber, rocket jump ninja claims that 400 cpi is bad and that you should run at higher cpi because it is more accurate( I call BS). Even Morier proves it in his videos about explaining how any sensors work, let alone the newer gen 336x and 9800 - family. Therefore, as long as the hardware supports native steps, it's subjective.

I change DPI depending on the game I play, if I'm playing Reflex then I'll play at something like 2000 DPI (1150 right now because the S3988 gets more smoothing at 1350+ apparently and my accel profile was originally setup for 2300 DPI on the AM.) because it gives the accel more room to work with and I feel that 450 DPI feels a little more jerky when using accel but that's probably placebo, but when I'm playing CS:GO I prefer a lower DPI like 800 or 900. DPI is entirely preference, but I try to stay on the lower end of the scale to avoid more smoothing because of how the 3988 works.

He simply means the angular granularity in 3D games. CPI alone isn't anything else than sensitivity but with higher CPI you can drop down the in-game sensitivity value while having the same cm/360.

For ease of communication (and subscribing to this thread) - would you happen to know the cost of shipping to Bulgaria? smile.gif

If not, I can e-mail support, it's alright with me.

If not, I can e-mail support, it's alright with me.

Since, Bulgaria is EU since 2007 then we can offer same price smile.gif. Only thing is we can accept payment in Euro, USD, or PLN.

Thanks for the information though! thumb.gif

For some reason I can't pay with PayPal, is this intentional or can I get into contact with you guys via the contact page on your site to buy with PayPal?

Alya, from my understanding you want to order in US, which is a different entity than EU. We are talking with them to get this issue figured out. I will give you an update in a few hours if it will be possible or not.

Thanks a lot! I am indeed from the USA, I'll be waiting for your reply on whether or not PayPal will be made an option in the future. thumb.gif
