Affordable 40" 4k monitor for CAD?

Thread Starter
My dad does a lot of CAD and his eyesight is no good, unfortunately his 1080p monitor isn't cutting it anymore either. I was wondering what i can get for around $600. I prefer it be a quality panel, speed or response time is not an issue as he does not play games, it's just gotta be easy on the eyes, big, and 4k.

Also the size is paramount as he needs more "room" (resolution) but still needs to have everything legible.

Plenty of 40" korean VA panels in that price range, but I would not recommend them for workspace due to poor viewing angles at close range. Consider either the 43 inch IPS panels crossover 434k / wasabi mango 420, or a 32" crossover 324k if you need something smaller/closer, or even a 1440p ultrawide on sale. Also be sure the video card/ integrated chip supports such resolutions, as a non-gamer he may not have the hardware for it currently.
