Doubled my RAM to 8GB, put Windows 10 on a 500GB SSD, and it's super fast! Maybe I don't need a new CPU this year. I'll use the extra money for a CNC machine that I can use to make custom PC cases. Couldn't find a good place to mount the SSD properly, so I drilled a few holes in an extra card reader, mounted the SSD inside it, and put the card reader in the slot under the real card reader. It's neat, secure, and hidden. And if you take the circuit board out of the card reader before you drill the holes (62 mm apart, 1/8" drill bit), the card reader should still be usable. 2 devices in 1 slot.
