Anyways. I find it unlikely that they have cracked the thing. I think what Cybertox says is likely true.

And people still quote the awfull system that Steam is using, Origin > Steam.
I still believe that the return time should be in relation to the playtime that a games offers.

We should first start with the people who stole zero, and people who are using this stolen knowledge.

I just can't download pirated software as I don't know how it's been altered. I remember a friend of mine downloaded GTAV torrent and the patches and cracks from 3DM. He was saying that in order to get it to work properly he was required to disable his malware and virus scan. Biiiiiiiiig sketchbomb....
I'm even cheaper/worse than you tongue.gif I'm about 2 years behind and the only newer title I have is ARK Survival ($12 March Humble Bundle)....which I just became Rex poop in lol.

You've already displayed that you cant read into context and yet you expect it of others. The lack of effort on your part is //ALSO// shocking. Typically points are answered in order, otherwise could have been cut from the quote like many other things that were cut.

The issue here is that one definition is factual, and hence why you use it in metaphor to your opinion.

The term beta changes from developer to developer. If it had a universally accepted definition that was enforced by an independent body then you wouldnt see so much variation.

Did I say I was planning to change they way DLCs are implemented? please quote it because Im missing it.

You mean the insulting gibberish that was aimed completely at me? - Yeah, I didn't find that to be contextually relevant...In fact, I found it rather petty and actually reather insightful into someone's character...You know since unabated, the individual felt that an insult was of concern over facts...I took a SS of the (now) deleted post if you need confirmation?

The issue here is that your "definition" is an opinion as to the state of the product. It's an opinion.

My "metaphors" are actually facts, both of them. You cannot hold the world in your hands. Factually, it's impossible. You cannot "reach out and touch the sun" factually because you'd be disintegrated thousands miles from the surface. Again, factually implausible.

If your OPINION is that the game is launched in a "beta state" and that you the consumers are "testing", that's fine - But don't state it as being a fact and attempt to defend it because per the industry, it's not a factual statement - In fact, developers find the notion insulting, as do I.

Your average beta sees 4-6 months in testing before it's launched...Games like SWTOR saw a year. Halo 5 saw almost a year. Black Desert will have seen a year...Last Guardian has seen 15 months...Those are facts.

Yet when Last Guardian launches and someone finds the one bug NONE OF US EVER EXPERIENCED; you the consumer are apparently now "beta testing" the game. God forbid we missed something. - No, that's not how it works...That's not how it's ever worked.

Also, no; the term "beta" does not change from developer to developer. Beta is beta. Alpha is alpha. What actually changes are the efforts put forth in the beta, the time the developers feel is necessary to test the product and the amount of fixes that take place in that environment. - The term "beta" stays the same, regardless of the above. Just like the term "Sword" is applicable from a Katana to a Buster sword to a Bokken. A sword, is a sword, is a sword.

As to your final quip - That's what you inferred. You're inferring, in the grand scheme of things, that your not purchasing day 1 content will eventually somehow open the developer's eyes to the fact that we no longer want "unfinished" product...That DLC's are "wrong" and bla bla bla - Whatever else you people complain about these days.

The reality is that, the entertainment industry is the only industry not to account for inflation. I'll more than happily pay the $100 (Game + DLC) to a developer that I feel deserves it because, if you ever did the math, that's the inflated price of a video game in 1990.

If you choose not to support quality content with your dollar, that's on you, not me; but don't pretend there's no notion behind it because we all know, you're attempting to "vote with your wallet"...

The ability to crack games is about the most pointless skill I can think to have

It was a joke also , something that seems lost on a weirdo such as yourself

It's not about cracking games, it's about the challenge of hacking, and cracking is one skill I have much respect for.

And how does that make me a weirdo?
