Mayhems Concentrates

Thread Starter
I was on Aquatuning looking for some blue stuff to throw in my loop (not very sure difference between concentrate and dye just yet so the answer to that question would be great too!) and I was looking at the Mayhems Aurora blue but under the description it says it would void my warranty on some of the parts in my loop, Alphacool in particular since that is my res. Does anyone know why that is? Also I've been reading a few posts on the longevity of the Aurora brand with people saying that it doesn't go past a few months. In my first loop I just used distilled water and a silver coil so if I end up using a concentrate or a dye will I also still need to get a silver coil? My loop is about 2 years old. Thanks for the answers and I apologize for all the simple questions.

To answer part of the question, dye is what you add to the loop to change the coolant colour. Normally a few drops is needed. Concentrate is were you just add distailled water to it for a complete mixture. Some concentrates already have dye included.

You won't need a silver coil when using a concentrate product containing anti bacterial properties. Using a dye and water alone will still require a silver coil.

To make things easy, go with a "pre-mixed" fluid such as the Mayhems X1 range.

Aurora is a show fluid. Literally put it in for a show and then remove it. It is not designed for long term and can gunk things up.
