PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM.

Pls help !! Anybody know the fix ??

This only appear when harddisk is not detect in the bios.
But when I tighten the cable hdd that join to motherboard then hdd is properly detected in the bios but then windows 8 symbol appears with " preparing automatic repair then after diagnosis windows then after window couldn't be repair. frown.gif

And the next day , again same PXE- E61 : MEDIA TEST FAILURE, cheak cable .......

That errors appears like your PC is trying to boot from the network card instead of the HDD.

You could enter the BIOS, go to the boot section and remove the network card as a boot option.
It will not solve your cabling issue, but it won't try to boot from anything but the harddisk - or whatever else is set as a boot option.

This might be a stupid question but try another cable? I assume this is a SATA cable connecting to the HDD to the motherboard.

The PXE-E61 and PXE-M0F errors has nothing to do with cables its an error you get when your BIOS tries to boot from a network card.
Go into the BIOS and remove the network card from the boot options and update all the drivers and that should fix it.
