Looks like shell issue where the shell clicks the button, is there any space between the shell notch and the switch itself? On my IE3.0 the buttons are separate and rest float on the switches but sure if I drop the mouse it does click as the weight of the buttons clicks the switches but it does not result in some crazy click-click-click-forever which would indicate FW issue or the shell being stuck down and keeping the switch pressed.
From what I see: dropping a mouse makes the shell click the switch, these clicks are often very fast which easily triggers the FW issue where there is no debouncing for the switches or similar issue in regards to switch input handling and the FW thinks the switch is held pressed down. I have no idea who coded the FW switch handling but I cannot conceive what they had to screw up to make this happen. It is damn simple to detect if a switch is on or off so it doesn't get stuck. Debouncing would only help to reduce unwanted double/multiple clicks where the switch itself may bounce.
The shell drop clicking is normal and can't be much avoided but the FW needs to be fixed to remove the annoying stuck click and mutliple click issue Edited by JackCY - 5/29/16 at 6:10am
