Gigabyte XM300 Mouse - Page 40

Well rma it then if it fixes issues. Recommended is still 500 hz. Ironically the F19 had pretty good 1000 hz performance though.

so, i finally got a reply from gigabyte, reply is something along the line of:
these problems have not been reported, looks like your mouse is ****ed, rma it at the store you bought it.

atm i'm like ***, are they just giving up? don't know if to rma it or take my money back.
i'd be in love with this mouse if the mouse stuck problem wasn't a thing

If you like it that much I'd say go for RMA you might get lucky.. If its faulty again just get your money back!

Pretty sure that was just his DA and it could be isolated or Synapse at work considering he uses/used it.

Since the buttons press down on switches quite a distance down on the PCB mounted on the bottom.. it may be that opening your mouse and then not screwing it as tightly back on, may solve your issue.

The travel distance on those switches is really not much. Also I saw that the front of the mouse especially can be looser or tighter because it's not as tichtly distanced like the back where it uses 'poles'. At the front it's more the shell that gives the distance between top and bottom.

When I first put my mouse back together, it didn't always click.. until I squeezed the shell a bit and that got me back to a none-repeating mouse (my RMAed mouse was always fine). Anyway maybe someone of you with the double click issue is willing to try this and see if this is a solution for others having this issue.

Wondering if this may fix right button stuck as well, I've returned my mouse already.

I have trouble installing the software. I had it installed like one month ago but I changed to my old mouse because I started getting nasty FPS drops in CSGO when moving mouse. I noticed the release of 1.06 and wanted to give the mouse a new try but I keep getting these errors:

"Access violation at address 0058B51A in module 'XTREME.exe'. Read of address 0000031C."

After I click OK I get

"Unable to create directory."

I have tried to run the installer as and administrator but it doesn't help. I have Windows 10 and by the way, I managed to install the software on my brother's PC which also has Windows 10.

My XM300 arrived today and I'm gonna send it back tomorrow. Was expecting an improved Deathadder, got a worse DA in every way.

The rubber sides feel bad, I don't have a good grip on this mouse. On the right side it feels thinner than the DA, which makes my hand cramp and I can't find a comfortable grip.

The weight feels also pretty bad for me, it feels much heavier than the old Deathadders, even tho being lighter. Maybe I get that feeling because of the uncomfortable grip.

On top of that the scrollwheel was skipping from the first minute on.

Only positive things I can tell about this mouse are the sensor performance and the cable.

I did not ran into the double click issue in my 1h of playtime btw. Didn't install software at all.

Yup, da is still a better mouse in most ways. Imho up to a certain point price should be irrelevant. So the xm300's price becomes a negative..

The price is a negative because it's somehow legal to release and distribute an undeniably defective product.
