Instructions are inside, use at own risk.

Instructions are in the thread, credits to ncck. I believe this wont be any different than uninstalling through device manager.
The way I use it, is to mark all the drivers and hit uninstall, then reconnect all USB devices. This refreshes drivers and gets rid of unused ones.
Gonna give my pc a fresh windows setup lets see how that goes. I tried it with another pc but i plugged the mice and left my home for 3hours it was still working still confused if its the mouse or the pc because i didnt move the mice much you know in the 2nd pc. Lets see how the windows setup goes frown.gif

After owning my XM300 for 9 months, I am receiving the same issue as XEiBIT. Multiple times a day, my mouse's sensor will stop working and I'll have to unplug and plug the mouse in order for it to work, just for the mouse to do the same thing hours later. Looking for a solution.

You could try to play with the BIOS versions, but I'm not sure there is a permanent fix. I use the mouse on Linux at work and if the DPI is adjusted while plugged in, the mouse has to be unplugged and plugged back in.

The site used to have a couple different BIOS versions posted and a tool to flash it as well.

Even with all the problems mentioned in the thread I went for it and bought it from amazon.es for eur40 just because of the sensor positioning. I don't know what craziness went on with the engineers/designers of gaming mice this past decade for putting sensors right in the middle of the mouse or even further back. I mean, I don't remember ever seeing someone do any kind of precision work, be it a painter, surgeon, or any kind of artist with the palm of its hand or even the back of his hand. Nature gave us fingers exactly for that but what does nature/God know right? Apparently peripheral makers think they can outsmart millions of years of evolution. smile.gif))

Anyway, hopefully I'll receive it tomorrow (maybe Monday) and I'll be putting it into test in the most intense, full of vertical action shooter I can find to test it to its limits and maybe I'll post the vid and review here so that other people can make up their minds.

From its images I believe a version 2.0 with shorter back (1cm), without that righ-back sticking out (that forces us to hold the mouse diagonally with the front tilted left and the back tilted right just like the Deathadder and Gladius II shapes which can be really annoying for some advanced moves with the hand/fingers) along with thumb buttons similar placed to the ROG Gladius II, it would turn the XM300 v2 into one of the best gaming mice around. Hope Gigabyte is listening.

btw: The only mice that allow me to do my entire arsenal of moves with all grip styles are smaller mice with hump in the middle, with rounded V shaped backs, forward sensor positioning, thumb buttons more close to the back than the front, and sub 85g weight. Want recipe for success mouse makers? There it is, there's nothing to it. Some people will complain at first because we humans are creatures of habits and we get used to the wrong shapes but it wont be long until they are converted. wink.gif))

The mouse is great if you get one without QC issues. The side buttons suck, IMO, but everything else is pretty great for what is a sub-$40 mouse in most places.

Been eyeballing this mouse as well. I'd like to try a 3988 mouse without having to deal with Razer QC and Synapse. Forward sensor position is a plus too since most of the mice in my collection have their sensor centered.
