Zero Space Terminal?

Hey EK,

I was just wondering if you guys will be releasing a dual zero slot terminal, like the one you made for linus in his 7 gamers one cpu but only for 2 gpus. I have seen one in another forum and would love to get my hands on one for one of my scratch builds using dual r9 nanos.

Thank you,
Bolo

Zero slot terminals must be the future since the current cards are double slot only due to the ancient double DVI connector which should be eliminated in the coming next generation of (high-end) cards. The DVI connector can be even cut out from the current cards but this is quite cumbersome operation. The problem however is not only in the terminal, at least not for the top range cards. These cards should be equipped both with water block and backplates. It is not clear that card with EK waterblocks and backplates would fit into single slot spacing, according to some they will not fit.

Yeah with some back plates that might cause a problem but I don't see why you couldn't have a plastic insert that just makes sure there is no accidental contact between the top block and the bottom card.

I had in mind potentially more serious problem when due to the thickness of the block and backplate, the card can not be mounted in single-slot way. At this point information whether this is possible is missing. EK surely is able to answer to this.

Yeah I'm sure they got it. Just watched this 7 way x-fire with 7 nanos here and he didn't use a back plate.

I've known of those I meant for 2 single slot cards right next to each other. What andrejEKWB posted is what I meant but for some reason I thought that was 3 single slot cards back to back instead of just two.

I noticed you guys put this up on the shop. I was wondering if this terminal could be used in either orientation?
