I'm sure from a straight ingame perspective (Quake, CS:GO or any game that uses the same sensitivity calculation) that having 4/11 Windows, 1600 CPI and 1 sensitivity would have the same effect as just having 6/11 and 0.5 sensitivity, whether raw input 0 is bad or not aside.

I guess most people would do it just to use high CPI and use normal sensitivity values as if you'd be using 400 or 800 CPI.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding how windows sensitivity works, but doesn't it just drop or add counts? So like at 4/11 it reports 1 count for every 2 counts and at 8/11 it reports 2 counts for every 1 count? That does not do the same as changing in game settings. Changing in game settings is changing the angular granularity doesn't it? So like 1/2 the in game sensitivity means there are twice as many angles you can aim at. Then windows sensitivity just changes the number of actual count vs windows reported counts. The CPI is just the counts per inch of movement. So with 400 cpi 6/11 vs 800 cpi 4/11 things should be the same though in reality I'm not 100% sure that would be the case while 4/11 with 1 in game and 6/11 0.5 in game would not be the same thing.

Yeah but we also use rawinput. This is just to make high CPI i.e. 6400 usable on desktop. Eg 800 CPI 2 sens = 6400 CPI 0.25 sens.
