good to know, i'll just order the black today and be done with it. When i bought sleeve i didn't realize the colors would change so much depending on lighting.

I'm nearly done with sleeving the PSU now. All that is left is a sata power cable which i am holding off on for a few weeks. I'll make that one when i decide where i'm going to put the sata drives. Much happier with the black/grand blue color scheme as well.

The mobo power cable needs some work as well. Not happy with it, and i'm not sure i ever will be due to the short length of it and the pins not really lining up well for sleeving. I think i may just make a crossover cable thats 3-4 inches long coming out of the psu then connecting into an extension so i can have that perfect arcing 24 pin cable.

Also since i last updated i put the CPU back into serial configuration which solved my component temp issues. Can now run 30% pump and only sacrifice 2C on component temps. System maxes out at 70% pump speed with no temp benefits going past that.

Also had the chance to test out the drain system when i moved the CPU into serial. It works much better than expected with vacuum pulling most of the fluid out of the blocks. Always had issues getting those areas drained due to the horizontal configuration and loop design.

One of my led strips died so only half the case is lit in these pics. I'll have it replaced soon.

Ran out of clear combs, i'll need to order some more. Black ones are temporary.

New windowed front panel came in this past week.

Still have some work to do on the cables as far as training and their positioning, i'll get to this later.

You can see some of the mobo wires are a bit long near the bottom. This thing is a real pain in the ass, every wire needs to be a different length to get it to look right.

This will be last update for a few weeks. I have to order some more stuff to finish up everything. I plan to wrap up this build early summer. I'll be doing one final teardown to address wire management and make/sleeve fan cables, i/o cables, etc. Held off on this part since i needed some time to think through how to do it with the system put together. Need to drill a few more holes. Got some gasket material for the holes now so no more bare metal exposed. I'll also be adding a flow meter and making some other small changes as well. Other than an upgrade to Skylake-x this summer, the build should be finished June.

So i thought i was finally going to be able to call this build complete with an update tonight. Instead i woke up to this.

I had spent the past few weeks sleeving everything and redoing the plumbing in the pedestal section after adding a 4th pump. Now i get to tear it apart again.

The leak is coming from one of my XE rads up top. This is the second XE i have had fail in this build. On the plus side, it gave me an excuse to buy the 2 hwl sr2 rads i've had my eye on for awhile. The XE's really don't fit the low fan speeds i'm targeting with this build now.

Good thing EK is good with their warranty, i'm sure they'll send me a replacement pretty quickly. All 3 of the XE's i own were purchased right around the recall that happened in 2015 so that may have something to do with the failures.

I'll be back in a few weeks to hopefully post the final pics and finally call the build complete.
