Hi
I just will like to ask your opinion about the 3 pin connection.i heave connected to my CPU fan on the mobo.and the 4 pin molex to the PSU. I am little bit confused about what i read in forums. 50% suggest to Connect OPT fan control and not on the CPU. Is going to be any control of the pump speed? Or a stable speed? The only i can do now with Ai suite iii on my asus formula ii is to monitor the pump speed.
Thank you

The 3-pin you have connected to your CPU fan header is just a tachometer output, meaning it will only show the pump's speed value. It is fine to leave it connected there if you wish as it will satisfy the motherboard's need to 'see' a 'fan' there. Alternatively, you could disable the CPU fan header in the BIOS (set to ignore or something like it) and connect it to any other header on the board you desire.

The DDC is being powered from the 4-pin Molex connection, so the 3-pin will only provide feedback on the pump's speed.
