I am running Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit, detail specifications are-
Mainboard: Asus Maximus V Gene (onboard audio disabled from BIOS).
Memory: Kingstone HyperX Predator DDR3 Memory 2400MHz 8GB kit.
Audio Card: Creative Soundblaster Z (driver updated to v1.00.28, Full Range Speaker disabled, both the ''Exclusive Mode'' & ''Signal Enhancement'' options are disabled from speaker properties, using SBZ control panel custom EQ).
Speaker: Logitech Z906 (connected via 6 channel direct analog cable to the SBZ).
Music / Audio softwares: VLC v2.2.2 Weatherwax 32bit & jetAudio 220.127.116.113 PLus. (all types of inbuilt audio normalizer in this two are exclusively disabled)
the problem is as the title said, I can not listen to any music after a certain volume without being throttled down automatically. is it a 'Feature' of windows or my soundcard.
Sorry for the long post & Big Thanks for reading & any help.
