If it works, (along with the smaller GFX we are getteing) this could really bring some small PCs with a lot of power: think two Fury X2 on an ITX board rolleyes.gif
(If one can control that much heat).

I think power is more of a limiting source.

And I've subbed to all of your sick little SFF builds so far, its really swaying me towards downsizing to something like this, I hope Pascal and Polaris are all small like the nano and 970 (at least the ones with HBM/HBM2).

Btw, what is the name of this particular riser/splitter?

I really hope they have some short ones! This splitter is from ameri-rack. Linky

Thanks a lot! I need to build a test bench or something so I can get more testing done. About to order another nano!

The beautiful r9 nano with the EK r9 nano block in nickel plexi.
A star of the show the Asrock z97E-ITX/ac. Bios supported bifurcation. Other notable ones are the z87 version and the X99 board.
The back of the board. Too bad that it only has a short m.2 slot which limits choices and size of the drive. For this build though I think I can still squeeze in 1 ssd so it will have to be a large capacity one.

Love that motherboard. I have 2 of them in and they are solid, just wish the 8-pin plug was in a different location.

That's for the X99 board, no?

Yeah its for x99. I have seen it and you could do it with x99 but I'm more concerned with the psu limitation if I do. Plus if you happen to use a mono block it limits the space above the motherboard and for the layout I am planning its not going to work.

No problem, will you be getting that block?
