I invaded and got invaded plenty. Also did PvP in that area behind the chariot boss.

I only played the game after it came out for 3-4 months though and then the DLC. Haven't played recently.

The Iron Keep bridge was the unofficial pvp hotspot, that's where I came across pretty much anyone using the infinite health cheat. Only other times were a couple in Heide's and once randomly in Huntsman's early on.

That being said though, a handful of cheaters here and there still aren't enough reason for me to ditch all the benefits of playing on PC. DS2 ran smooth and I'm expecting that 3 will be just as well polished.

yeah I PvP'd there too. I played all Souls games a lot and PvP too. I played bloodborne the least.

I'd consider the PS4 version too, but 30fps is a mood-killer for me in those kind of games. Too fast and it feels wrong going 30fps if there is a chance to get 60fps. Sure it doesn't matter that much and I had a lot of fun playing Bloodborne on PS4, but as soon as I played Bloodborne online the framerate was so bad that I needed to turn the game off.

If the PS4 version had 60fps then I'd maybe go with the PS4 version, but I think they already showed the Xbox One version running at 30 and Bloodborne runs at 30 (most of the time) so there is 0% chance that DkS 3 on PS4 is 60fps.

Also my PS4 is too loud and I recently bought an Xbox One controller for my PC thumb.gif

I know normal DS2 and SOTFS were divided into separate servers. Maybe one was more prone to hackers? Also concerning the dlc, if its anything like BB's, then we should have no worrys. You can tell Miyazaki has learned a lot through creating these souls games. The final dlc boss for BB was the culmination of his efforts to date back then.

Probably has more to do with soullevel I'd say or soul memory.

I bet the game got more cheaters when it was on sale for like 15$. I definitely had a flawless experience when I payed full price and play the game as soon as it came out.

Cheaters are more likely to go for free games or games on sales I'd wager.

Same here, I have 400+ hours in DS2 and alot of those hours are from pvp. I honestly cant remember facing against alot of hackers. Not saying there wasent any but they were so few and thin that it dosent hold a memory. Also if you used cheat engine there was a good chance that you were going to get caught and moved to the "hacker" server. This happened to me as I used it to boost my level when I finished the game, though it's easy to get around that.

I have actually already bought the DS3 and its season pass! Its up on steam.

Unless there's going to be a price hike when the game is actually released, I don't see a reason to preorder.

It seems the season pass (2 DLC) is $25.

I completely agree with you normally but dark souls is my weakness. I have loved all of their games in the past and plus I had the money. This will be my only pre-order for 2016, and probably only game bought at full price.

Played a ton of PvP battles on Iron Keep. Never ran into a single person with infinite health. This was happening at the 6 months period after the game launched though, so perhaps these cheats got out of hand after that?

My problem with PvP was lag and hitboxes all over the place which made the game pretty bad.
