[VG24/7] Dark Souls 3 season pass leaked, comes with two DLC packs - Page 4

The only reason DS2 got split into two versions was because of the transition from PS3/360 to PS4/XB1 tech. Since we're not on the verge of a new console generation, the same thing won't happen with DS3.

As far as I can tell, DS3 runs on the "Bloodborne engine" which looks very nice and appears to be their latest. Also, Dark Souls 2 ran pretty good which shows they have learned from their weak DS1 port.

Why would it be free ? It's a lot of work done and you would want paying for your work

The only reason there was an different version was because of the new consoles. If they never made a DX11 PC version people would have complained

At this point more developers than not view season passes as a way to sell a $60 for $90+, with the DLC in question either being content originally budgeted for in the development of the base game or else cheap and easy to produce content.

It isn't all like that, but more and more it is all going in that direction.

DS3 + season pass costs almost the same as XCOM 2 without DLC.
