Low profile CPU fan

Thread Starter
I've been debating between keeping my Hyper T4 (212 doesn't fit), getting a better, more high end cooler, or getting an AIO water cooler. I can't really get over the risk of having an AIO cooler, and the Hyper T4 really isn't appealing anymore.

So now, I'm looking for a CPU fan that is low profile, high end, and preferably with red lighting. Any leads?

Noctua has a few low profile CPU coolers. All are pretty good.

That's why I'm looking to replace it. =P

Preferably as low as possible. I want to make my case as spacious as possible, without compromising performance.

A component list would be very helpful for people to make accurate recommdations.

The Noctua link I left before. The lower half of the page has several low profile coolers. Take your pick. Some of the best you can get.

The ones Chaoz listed are good too.

Corsair strikes again. thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif
They tell us the length of GPU that case can accommodate, but not what cooler height will fit. thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif
Cases with 120m rear fan usually have 155-160mm CPU clearance, bu that's not 100%. Can you measure from the top of motherboard to sidecover, or from motherboard tray to sidecover.
CPU clearance + 8mm = distance from top of motherboard to sidecover.
CPU clearance + 16mm = distance from motherboard tray to sidecover.

Sorry - was on mobile.

You have plenty of room for any of the good top down coolers. Having tested most of the pieces mentioned here, I happen to agree with @Chaoz about the Dark Rock TF. Top performer, dead quiet and really good looking in the case.
