Covering PSU cables on bottom of case

Thread Starter
I apologize if this is the wrong forum.

I know that some cases have a cover that covers the PSU and everything on the bottom of your case. I'm currently using a Corsair Spec 02. Is there anything I could use as a way to safely cover up the cables on the bottom as well as the PSU itself? For reference, my cables are properly managed, but I'm trying to not have that section be visible at all/have a flat surface to further customize.

If your good with case modding or anything of that sort, you can create a PSU shroud out of aluminum, otherwise there are cases with PSU shrouds such as the NZXT H440, the Corsair 600C are just some examples.

Lots of ways to do that. If you have access to a 3D printer you can print one. You can use aluminum as stated above but more costly and harder to work with. Simpler way is to go buy acrylic from the hardware store, cut 2 pieces to size and glue them together to form the "L" shape to cover it, then sand the sharp edges to a round profile, paint it with rattlecan primer, then paint it with rattlecan paint whatever color you want. If you need to cut grommets or holes in it do that before you prime and paint it.

This gives me ideas about re-using scrapped plastic from printers and vacuums.

Yup, I do the same with old computers. I have also used hard thick cardboard from notepads / paper packages ( not the thin flimsy ones ). Once I cut them to the size/shape I need, I use adhesive backed stiffened felt or the adhesive backed foam sheets. They also have them in non-adhesive backed if you want to use your own type of glue. I use paint markers to color the sides of the cardboards to match.

I used this method to chamber the GPU & CPU and also cover the hole where the wires come up to the mother board. Looks really clean now. I just don't have pictures at the moment.
