Keyboard lag on startup W10

Thread Starter
For the first 30 seconds after logging in the keyboard lags horrendously. Each key is only registered 1 second after the last is registered. The mouse is fine and dragging windows causes no lag at all. I had no such problems in Windows 7.

I'v tried uninstalling keyboard drivers ect.. with no changes. I checked ease of access settings and nothing is messed up in there either. Does anyone know a fix for this? I always shut my PC off when not in use, so this issue has become very frustrating when it happens at least twice a day.

Guessing you've tried using other keyboards as well?
Try checking if disconnecting the and connecting the keyboard while the lag is happening (before you type your password)

Is this in regards to the system in your signature? A little more info can help diagnose.

Thanks
Joe
