Leaky H60 + Good H70 = CPU / GPU Water cooled?

So I have an H60 that's been sitting around for awhile that sprung a leak in the radiator. Partially my fault, but regardless, the H60 "block" if you will is fine. I also have an H70 that I currently have on my CPU. I have a Dwood bracket left over from when I used it on my GPU.

My question is, would it be possible to use the H60 as a CPU water block, put the H70 block on the GPU and run that into a res while still using the stock H70 Radiator?

I guess I would just hook one pump up, I'm assuming. If this actually did work, would it be enough rad to keep a 2500K + HD7850 cool enough?

Okay, started doing this project today. I didn't have time to get everything done, but I tested out the H60 block with the H70 radiator (closed loop) and it worked great. So tomorrow (assuming I have time) I'll get it all looped.

Pics incoming, assuming it gets done tongue.gif

You mean run the gpu and cpu on one 140 or 120mm radiator?

It's an H70 radiator. Double thick 120. I'm hoping it will be enough.

I think you will quickly overwhelm that radiator.

A low efficiency 120mm aluminum rad? One would certainly think so......
