With that rig of yours, you wont be pulling higher than 60 anyways.

60fps is fine for me, the game itself isn't really what I hoped for. Kinda. 13Hr SP means that it will be 8Hr at best. The MP does not look anywhere near "back in my day.jpg" frown.gif

Was that supposed to be a joke or..?

Welp, seeing as the game doesn't support SLI/Cross, you're actually right. thumb.gif

Still, even out of principle I won't buy it on day one now. No reason to implement such cap on PC.

Not trying to put you down or anything, but with a single 280X you wont go higher than 60 fps at 1920x1080 (unless you set everything to low and hope for the best), and keep in mind that it is very possible that there wont be any crossfire support. The card already drops to 49 in some occasions, if it were capable of much higher frames, it wouldn't drop so low.

I edited my post. Noticed the game doesn't support CFX anyway (at least not now). thumb.gif

I don't think any of the pervious games that used idtech have supported crossfire or SLI

60fps cap is fine by me. Think it's an engine thing, but somebody might make an fps unlocker (even if it breaks things.)

Even 8 hours for the campaign would be acceptable for me. It's DOOM, it's just you running around shooting everything that isn't you so that's pretty good to me.

A 280x should be able to run the game with most settings on max and get 60fps. PS4/X1 look frickin' SICK graphics-wise and the PS4 version at least is 1080p native and it runs at 60fps locked. No reason why the final game on PC shouldn't do the same even with a much-inferior graphics API.

Thread Starter
I don't know, man, but seeing a 280X completely outperform the 980 is wrong. I had the 280X with a nice overclock and that card was (is) awesome. But when I switched to the 780 it was faster on stock and really pulls ahead considerably when OC'ed. This is why I find this situation troubling.

I was expecting _at least_ locked 60 with a 780Ti, but from that graph, damn...
