LoL,
From my perspective
Excavator FPU = Steamroller FPU + 10-15%
Excavator INTEGER = Steamroller INTEGER

Excavator with 1MB of L2$ might have problem beating steamroller with 2MB of L2$.

Thats why I dont like cinebech it is not good indicator of performance. I wanna see games, pov ray 3.7, etc.

What we need for good test is - fast ram and good MB also.

I personnally just bought an a10-7860k.

What interested me the most was the 65W unlocked Godavari.

Needed to upgrade from a X4 740 Trinity (locked, 3,2ghz, piledriver, 65w).

I received it this morning, and will be doing some tests these next days. You'll probably see a topic when I have enough material, to share the data with you all smile.gif.

Yes, it would be interesting to know what's the iGPU voltage under 3D load smile.gif you can check it with AMD Overdrive.

Probably... but I think Integer perf on excavator is same as on steamroller.

BTW, I saw your record on HWbot @ 4.2GHz, water or air cooled?

PS: Wasn't this chip under NDA until today?

This x10. Reviewing an AM3+ board with an ancient chipset or a new cpu with new architecture (for desktop pcs) that will also point the performance expected performance of zen. Hmm, really a hard decision to choose. rolleyes.gif

The good news is that BLT brought their stock ETA forward for the first time on the 845 instead of pushing it back. It leads me to think it might be a real release date or close to it now. They are projecting availability for next Tuesday (March 8).
