Hello I wanted to know If I could use this lighter for sleeving my cables vs using a Bic lighter by charging instead of just buying a new lighter every time one is out of gas thumb.gif

That thing costs $20. A bic lighter costs about $1.
I wouldn't recommend that for sleeving. You'd have to have some thin wire and the way those are built the heat really only happens at the two main arcing edges. So you'd have to quickly rotate your wire and hope it doesn't burn it.

Again, it's up to you, but Bic's are really cheap and the whole flame has heat rather just two small points giving off heat like the lighter you picked. And the Tesla doesn't spread heat. It stays in that small concentrated area so you'd have to put your wire inside the arc.
