Ripple suppression on the Cooler Master is little over twice as good as the SilverStone.
25mv on the 12v rail on the Cooler Master V vs 58mv on the 12v rail on the SilverStone.

Thats why its better.

I don't even know what that means, but ill take your word for it.
I'm not a very techy person.
I just wanted a tier 1 psu that would be 140mm in depth or less.

The Cooler Master V is the better unit of the two by far

And if you want to know what rippe is you should read this
On ripple, and its effects on overclocking

Or if you want the short version ripple is noise in the power and by noise i mean noise as in a disturbance in the power and not audible noise.
ATX specifications allow up to 120mv on the 12v rail so 60mv is average and 25mv is good.

Okay i understand now, where does it say this on their websites for each psu?
I tried looking for this information just to verify for myself.
Can send me 2 links if possible?
Thanks.

Edit: the V550 might have 35mv instead of 25mv compared to the V750.
But that still makes it better then the 58mv the SilverStone has.

I ended up buying the Cooler Master V650W.
I wish the EVGA G2 650W would've fit inside my case because that psu is just top tier man, this thing has 15mV on the 12V rail.

It's $60 cheaper then the cooler master v650w aswell + it has hybrid mode.
Wish they made it 20cm shorter, damet.

Don't know why cooler master charges so much.

One thing i find annoying with the V650 is its one of the only 650 watt units that only has 2x PCI-E cables where almost everything else has 4x PCI-E cables.
So if you want a second video card you cant with the V650.

It comes with 2. Either way I'll be using only 1 gpu.
