Need a new gaming mouse ASAP help me decide please.

Yep I posted about the faulty Logitech 502, so dont want one of those, gone clean off Logitech for now while that issue is getting sorted out.

Really want to try some good shooting stuff while I still have some reactions left so want a good no frills corded Gaming mouse please.

Been looking at this one at scan dot co dot UK and it looks like what I need.

https://www.scan.co.uk/products/razer-deathadder-chroma-gaming-mouse-10000dpi-black-5-buttons-usb

That's as many buttons as I'll ever need for a gaming mouse, but is it reliable are there known quality issues? Anything else I should know?

I'm almost set on it ... and if I go for it, what is best type of gaming mouse surface for something like this? so that I can order at same time too.

Meh, too expensive for the prestatio, i don't know if there are benchmarks to test 'sensor accuracy', btw side buttons can be pretty useful in shooters (ie grenade, specific weapon switch, melee,...)

Most people will probably not recommend you Razer mouses. The newer Diamondback Chroma didn't get too good of reviews. The most solid mouse I own is the Ducky Secret made of PBT material. I own a lot of Razer mouses and they are not that good quality compared to the Ducky Secret. I also own like 3 different SteelSeries mouses too. I can say with confidence that the build quality of the Secret is superior to all of these mouses. People's #1 complaint about the Secret is that it's too heavy for them. I love the sturdiness of my Secret mouse too much to go back to any other mouse. I have never felt such sturdy side buttons on a mouse ever. There are a lot of other brands too but I would say keep looking and skip Razer.

Thanks, do you have a link for these mice sold in UK?

I can do Amazon UK.com

Scan UK.com and OCuk.com

I should add I'm not a fanatical PC mouse gamer, just an older guy trying to get back into the genre again with Rainbow 6 Siege and ARMA too and have some fun ... I'm not trying to be competitive.

Would love a link I could just click and buy for delivery end of this week, have a Logitech G910 arriving then too.

Oh and please a matching mouse surface too

OK, so I'm going to order this Ducky from Amazon, but I need a compatible surface too, since I'm ordering from Amazon already please recommend me something good for this mouse too please from same place to save on postage smile.gif

meh, build quality is so overrated.
As for the surface it's really up to you and your preferences about the 'slidability' you use/like with your current setups, there is a linustechtips vid comparing lotsa mousepads, IMO you should first test the Cardboard ® one™ solution

+1 shape and feeling in the hand + comfort are most important.
