Monitor -
None. He wishes to use his 52" LCD TV as a monitor.

Please suggest if we can optimize some of the parts to get maximum performance out of the system. May be alternative part suggestions to boost the performance without increasing the overall budget
Awaiting your valuable feedback/suggestions. smile.gif

I would advise on i5 4460, since these are not OC-able chips, and you might want the highest possible stock clock for the price smile.gif Otherwise pretty similar to my build, and it works lovely smile.gif

Just now looked at similarly priced intel CPUs. I just think nobody can beat intel when it comes to confusing the customer using hefty product line up with all similar specs!

Take a look here.
http://www.newegg.com/global/in/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=50001157%204814%20100204460%20600005579&IsNodeId=1&Description=intel%20processor&bop=And&CompareItemList=343%7C19-116-942%5E19-116-942%2C19-117-302%5E19-117-302%2C19-116-991%5E19-116-991%2C19-116-896%5E19-116-896&percm=19-116-942%3A%24%24%24%24%24%24%24%3B19-117-302%3A%24%24%24%24%24%24%24%3B19-116-991%3A%24%24%24%24%24%24%24%3B19-116-896%3A%24%24%24%24%24%24%24

Lol biggrin.gif

I started to wonder why not i5 4590 then? It is clocked at 3.3GHz i.e. max in the siblings. tongue.gif

Sure, if the price is similar and the mobo supports it, 4590 is the way to go smile.gif It turbos up to 3.7Ghz.

Take faster memory. 2133mhz or 2400mhz memory costs almost as much as 1600mhz and it might help gain 10fps in some games.

You can run 2400 Mhz RAM on 1600 Mhz, if that's what the mobo supports, but if the price is similar, buy the fastest possible for future-proofing smile.gif Also, if you sell it at some point, it will be much easier to sell.

Yeah. I thought the same. Thanks for the suggestion but there is a significant price difference. The guy is on budget and I have already pushed him to spend some extra.
Anyways, it will be like he will use this PC for a lifetime without any major upgrades so I guess giving the best what the config can handle is enough. smile.gif
