Yea, I've had no issue with them. To hit 3200mhz I only had to set it in bios. Didn't need to increase voltage or timings.

Personally, I have always used Asus boards so this was different for me. Mainly because everything on this MSI board has a different name from the same thing on an Asus board. After making myself a handy translation matrix I was able to get the decent result of 4.4ghz @ 1.32v. I don't know if its the chip or the board but even at 1.365v I can't get 4.5 but I also haven't played around with it for more than a few days so far.

I will say the board has not given me any issues so far and I would recommend it not just for its looks but it has a good amount of decent features.

Depends on cooling. I think average for these is 4-4.5ghz. I wouldnt go over 1.3v on air, 1.4 on water provided temps are ok. Personally, 1.32 was the highest I was willing to go and my temps are really good. Never pass the 60s during stress testing so far which looks good for summertime use here in California where my ambients will be a lot higher.

Did some changes to the initial configuration. Screw the dimentions, lets get some sexy alluminium. That is the result:

Phanteks EVOLV ATX
Corsair RM750X
MSI X99A SLI Krait
Intel i7 5820K
Prolimatech Genesis black edition + 2x eLoop B12-2
16Gb DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000Mhz CL15 black
Samsung PRO 850 250Gb
Western Digital BLUE 5400rpm 2Tb

and the sapphire r9 390 8gb

Boom, black and white sexy silent build. The psu does not spin until 300-350W, the two eLoops are really really dead silent since 800-900rpm when in push and the new "green" seems to be really silent.

Is it all good?

Looks good to me, just make sure you have enough clearance with that combination of cooler, case, mainboard and memory.

Why phanteks doesn't stop itself to make beautiful cases? I just saw the new enthoo pro m acrylic window, it's gorgeous! In the case I take it I'll spend 100€ less, can I reinvest them in a good 2.1 system for hearing music? Or is better to use them for a 500Gb Samsung evo replacing the hdd? Or also take the evolv because of the fuc***g awesome aluminium even if it costs 200€?

Those questions you can only answer yourself smile.gif

About the SSD, i usually store my OS and my most played games on the SSD. The rest of the data goes to a HDD. If you have 500gb of games you play, then you could consider going for a 512gb SSD. If you only play a few games, i would just stick to a 250gb and spend the money elsewhere.
