Pump noise and sound comparison - Page 3

Check my build. I'm getting a pretty quiet operation, and that's with the pump stuck at 3600rpm due to a broken rheostat. Fans go between 800rpm and 1000rpm depending on water temp. Fans are Venturi HPs and my radiators are Nemesis 360GTS and 280GTS. Loudest thing is one of my 3.5in HDDs when in use.

@scrawl5 what fans do you use for that low rpm? Been looking at Vardar,

Since you have concerns about noise, the HWLabs Nemesis GTS series are a far better performing rad at all fan speeds, and are a world away at lower fan speeds.

I read that whole article and review and on paper it shure looks like the SE slim rads really don't deliver.
But then i watched this vid, EK SE, PE and XE comparison and the difference seems lesser in real use.

HWLabs i cant buy here in Sweden, i have to buy from another country. Just EK and Alphacool over here.

I figured out that my CPU and GPU overclocked need about 528w in rad space.

I calculated the "worst case" scenario with GPU @ 1.3v. Stock w is 297w peak draw. And if i'm not mistaking you calculate 297w * 1,3v = 386w. Wheres 1.3 is the OC voltage on the card.

Now i dont know if my card can handle 1.3v, but i like to calculate for more overhead then i need.

And according to that review on xtremerig two SE 360 would not be enough for that.
I figured out that to PE radiators will actually fit with 2 mm margin.

But then i watched the video that says its stupid to get the PE over SE if your going for low RPM fans.
So now im really confused thinking.gif
