Which Titan do I have (before running into a SLI problem)

Hi folks, Im a happy owner of a gaming pc... key item is a nVidia GeForce GTX TITAN X 12 GB (GDDR5) - now my issue is I would like to buy a 2nd card for SLI but as I did buy the ready PC Im not sure which card I have - so very simple question... can I use any Titan X card with 12 GB or how do I get to the exact model? Tried google up and down...

Thanks!!

Well, you've actually answered your own question tongue.gif It's a Titan X, so you should be able to SLI it with any other Titan X. I'f you'd like to know what brand and exact model it is to have them look the same, you can just open up the side panel of the case and it should tell you on the card itself, otherwise post a link to the PC you bought and, I may be able to tell you.

There are other vital things you need to find out though.
-Whether the power supply can power two cards or not, especially in the case of Titan X's where you're going to need a lot of power
-If there's room for a second in the case
-If the motherboard has a second GPU slot

It's also worth asking, do you really need it? If I'm not mistaken a single Titan X should be overkill in most use cases for a while to come.

Posting your specs would be pretty helpful too. If you don't know them run this program https://www.piriform.com/speccy and take a screenshot for us.

Don't want to go off topic but why ? Titan X is overkill for whatever they have for PC, plus the consoles are here for several years, no upgrades biggrin.gif
I think that SLi problems are not worth it for most games, because your card can max them out already..

Well I'm definitely not a pro, I'm probably one of the least knowledgeable people here, I usually feel like an idiot compared to most people here lmao redface.gif

Motherboard is perfectly fine, I don't believe a 700W PSU will be enough, and not knowing what brand/model it is makes it a little harder because wattage alone doesn't necessarily indicate what it can do.
I suggest finding out the exact make and model of the power supply and asking the people over in the power supply section http://www.overclock.net/f/31/power-supplies
There are a couple of people there who know much more about power supplies and could help you much better than I could, whatever Shilka tells you, take their advice tongue.gif

Yes got also the impression I would need more than 700 W... no sure about my model but still sounds a bit low...
