Rather than driver updates, you think nvidia will introduce asynchronous shading with pascal?

Lets hope they kick some ass so it more balanced and as such, better for the consumers.
that present was running on low resolutions?

Perhaps, they're getting themselves handed at the moment with the Stock Fury X destroying OCed 980 Tis. Of course, I hate Shadows of the Singularity - but I also hate RTS lol. I'm looking forward to seeing "action" gameplay performance with titles such as the new Hitman (yuck) or Deus Ex (yum).

The important thing is not to worry about resale value for green teamers: DX11 or lower dominates the modern AAA market by 99%+, it will be a year or two before DX 12 starts becoming very mainstream; and even more so years for when it becomes the de facto standard.

Even so, 80% vs 20% is not a nice battle.
Like i said, i WANT AMD to kick some but so we, the consumers win.

DICE was talking about dx12 right before the fury x launch so BF5 may just have asynchronous shading. I really hope so.

I know the new NFS definitely doesn't have it, I do have hopes for BF5, DICE are alright when it comes to gamer appreciation. (totally avoiding Hardline)

Yup, people always say that until AMD actually starts "winning", then they start to focus on the past. Kind of like what you just did. tongue.gif

I might be misunderstanding but in the first graph the 980 ti dx 11(1080p) FPS is very close to the FuryX DX12 (1080p) FPS. Is that not impressive?

All this is showing is that AMD has a big disadvantage under DX11, Nvidia do not. What that means is things are going to be a lot closer under DX12, that's without the whole Async debacle. Async is merely the cherry on top for AMD.
